Fernando Birra

I am an Assistant Professor working mainly in the field of Computer Graphics. I work in the Department of Informatics of the Faculty of Sciences and Tecnhology of the New University of Lisbon. For a taste of Portuguese, its called Departamento de Informática da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. I am also a Researcher at one of the Research Centres of our Computer Science Department, known as CITI. My main research is conducted in the area of Computer Graphics and Interfaces, with sporadic digressions in Parallel Computing (with GPUs of course). I work with the Multimodal Systems group of CITI’s centre.
